Terramix Putty is a high-performance skimcoat and repair compound for interior and exterior use on concrete, blockwork, and brickwork. It delivers a smooth, hard, water-resistant finish—ideal for painting or wallpapering.

Application Method

Surface Preparation 

Remove all oil, grease, dust, foreign matter, and loose particles. Moisten absorbent or porous surfaces with clean water before application.

Priming

For highly absorbent substrates or extreme weather conditions, use standard cementitious practices. Add Terrabond (1:15 ratio with water) to the mixing water or apply as a primer where recommended.

Mixing 

Use high-speed mixer or hand agitator. Mix for 3–5 minutes, allow to stand 5 minutes, re-stir before use. For repair pupuse mix 7 litres of water with 20kg bag of Terramix Putty.

Application 

Apply Terramix Putty using a trowel and level with a steel float in layers up to 2mm thickness per coat. Once partially set, finish with a moist wooden or foam float. Brush off any loose particles after drying. Surface may be sanded if required. Maintain moisture on the surface for the first 48 hours to ensure proper curing. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
