Product Overview

MarbleCare SR is water-based, natural look penetrating sealer which is absorbed deeply into the most natural
stones such as marble, limestone, sandstone, granite, etc. It binds the substrate and the surface to prevent
water and stain absorption. It allows vapor transmission and does not adversely affect bonding of stone on
substrate.

Properties

Marblecare SR has the following properties:

•  Protects the substrate against water absorption and most stains.

• Does not affect the adhesion of stone on substrate.
• Can be used for interior and exterior application
• Reduces freeze/thaw damage
• Leaves a tack free natural surface
• Reduces efflorescence
• Excellent water impermeable coating
•  Excellent adhesion to dimensionally stable concrete/render

Areas Of Use

Excellent sealer for most natural stones such as:

• Marble
• Limestone
• Sandstone
• Granite
• Slate
• Terravertine

Application Method

Surface Preparation 

Ensure that surface is dry and free from previously applied sealers. Ensure that all dust, dirt and foreign matter are scraped and brushed away.

Application

• Mixing: Mix for 5 minutes before using.
• Apply 1 coat of Marblecare SR on the entire surface using brush or roller. Allow the material to saturate the surface for 3 -5 minutes. Remove any non-absorbed materials from the tile with a clean towel or absorbent paper.
• Note: Highly porous substrates may require application of a second coat. After 2 – 4 hours of application, test the surface by applying water droplets. In case of absorption, apply a second coat.
• Allow the material to dry for 12 hours prior to fixing of stones. Consult Terraco Technical Team for compatible adhesive
