Maxi Roof Coating is a one pack, economical roof coating. It provides a flexible waterproof coating with good weather resistance. Maxi Roof Coating has good flexibility and is ideally suited for use in areas with extreme climatic conditions. It is applied by brush, spray or rubber squeegee.
Maxi Roof Coating is a blend of weather resistant pigments, fillers and styrene acrylic ester resins. Maxi Roof Coating offers the following benefits:

Areas Of Use
Maxi Roof Coating is designed for application on roofs constructed from a wide variety of materials, i.e. concrete, light weight concrete, roof tiles, wood, galvanised steel, asphalt and asbestos cement. Maxi Roof Coating is also recommended as a UV protective coating for closed cell polyurethane foam roof insulation
Ensure dust, dirt and foreign matters are removed from roof surfaces. All cracks should be made good with Terraco Acrylic Filler. Before coating over old substrates in humid tropical areas, surfaces should first be washed down with a solution of household bleach 12 hours before re- coating, to prevent the re-growth of fungi and algae.
If substrate is porous, it is best to use Terraco Penetrating Primer Clear or diluted Terrabond A (1:3 with water) prior to Maxi Roof Coating application.
Maxi Roof Coating can be applied by brush, spray or rubber squeegee, embedding glass fiber scrim in areas which require reinforcement. Allow to dry and apply another coat to give an overall consumption of approximately 1.2-1.5kg/m2. Do not apply if rain is likely over the next 48 hours, as Maxi Roof Coating is not resistant to rain until fully dry.
Maxi Roof Coating is not suitable for areas of prolonged water saturation/ ponding – ensure the roof has a 1:75 slope and proper drainage. When applying over PU foam roof insulation, Maxi Roof Coating should be applied after 4 hours but within 24 hours of PU foam application.
