Areas Of Use

Terramortar HB is a high-build leveling and repair mortar for preparing and restoring concrete floors. It is ideal for repairing uneven or damaged concrete surfaces in car parks, industrial warehouses, factories, and other heavy-duty floor applications. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, it can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 5–15 mm.

Application Method

Surface Preparation

Ensure the substrate is clean, sound, and free from loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, oil, paint, and other contaminants. Prime absorbent or porous substrates before applying Terramortar HB.

Priming

Apply a coat of Terrabond A diluted 1:5 with clean water to the repair area. For highly absorbent or porous surfaces, or when working under hot and dry conditions, apply 2–3 coats of primer.

Mixing

Mix the powder and resin components thoroughly using a high-speed mixer or a hand agitator for 3–5 minutes until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved. Allow the mixed material to stand for 5 minutes, then re-mix briefly before application.

Application

Apply Terramortar HB with a trowel and level using a steel float. For a smooth finish, use a dampened wooden or foam float once the mortar has begun to set. Keep the float slightly moistened during finishing.

Cleaning

Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

Curing

Keep the repaired surface moist for the first 48 hours to ensure proper curing and optimum performance.
